Work continued on the 3rd Year Craftwork projects. With only 2 weeks left  until mid-term break the pressure is on now to get the craftwork done within the 8 weeks. We are encouraging all third years to attend craft club as often as possible in order to get their craftwork completed on time! The 3rd year parent teacher meeting also took place this week. Don't forget this weeks revision test on nutrition!

The Fashion Design students did great work in the costume department last Thursday. The garments are also taking shape now. Keep up the good work!

Mid-term tests took place for Year 5 and 6.

Year 5 students also began preparation for their first practical assignment worth 4% of their LC Home Economics exam; Yieks! but the good news is that it's all about muffins and cupcakes..mmm yummy! that should be fun!

6th Year students are busy planning and purchasing fabric for their Textiles and Fashion Design Elective.

Planning is underway this week for the annual Wesley College Health Week. Health Week takes place this year during the week of the 16th of November 2009. A number of activities will be organised to bring important issues of physical and mental health and well-being to the attention of students and staff of the college. Watch this space for further details in the coming weeks!
